RAMP® Rapid Airway Management Positioner: All-In-One or StandAlone!

Improper patient positioning is a frequent cause of failed laryngoscopy. The RAMP, or Rapid Airway Management Positioner, is an inflatable patient positioning system consisting of AirPods™powered by hospital compressed air and the Airpal Air Controller. By using the RAMP to quickly achieve ear to sternal notch position in even the largest of patients, alignment of the airway axes is facilitated and glottic exposure improved. The RAMP also aids in maximizing upper airway patency, improving the mechanics of ventilation and lengthening the apneic time period to critical hypoxia in massive obesity.

The RAMP is available as an All-In-One or StandAlone system: The AirPal RAMP is available either with the AirPal Platform lateral patient transfer pad integrated with the RAMP system (All-In-One) or separately (StandAlone) when lateral transfer functionality is not requested.
